I've been playing for 3 years and i pretty much just learn songs, i've learned like 2 scales, the basics of natural harmonics, and chords. i am getting more serious with my playing and i want to find a good book to teach theory (scales, chord progressions,...) basically so i can improvise better, and make it easier to write songs.

does anybody know of any good books, maybe with dvds? i'd use the internet, but ours is too slow for my liking
MIM Tele
Fender Blues Jr NOS
Schecter Omen 6
Squier Strat
Greg Bennett Acoustic
other crap...
