Just spotted these deals in a local shops website.
Good or not?

Bass Stack 1
OR
Bass Stack 2

Any help or reviews will be greatly appreciated

Why buy something that will end up braking down on you?

A "tubescreamer" is a person paid by a guitarist to stand behind the amp and scream at the tubes. This terrifies the tubes into overdriving and delivers a thick, harmonic-rich tone.

a Behringer at $2 is not a good deal. don't even think about them
Gear:
Washburn RB2500 (5 String)
Yamaha BB400 Fretless (1981)
Carlo Giordano 3/4 Upright (White)
Cort Action 4 (Stereo-fied)
Orange Bass Terror 500
Orange 1x15 Cab

Why do you think absolutely no professional touring musicians use them?

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

Haha thanks for all the help guys.
What would any of you suggest?
I play mostly ___core songs but i do tend to dabble in some jazzy and blues stuff for good slow groovey stuff aswel.

What you want is some sort of line6 bass pod. You can use it to emulate different amp models which gives you flexibility and versatility in a preamp.

Ibanez K5
Warwick Rockbass Vampyre 4

Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live
Epiphone Les Paul Custom

they are asking 1K for that junk?....

in the 1 K price range I would consider Ashdown Little Giant 350 head and Ashdown Mag 210 and 115 cabinet, this setup is one thousand times better than the Behringer rig and actually cost less. Musicians friend is shipping heavy cabs free right now so now would be the time to buy cabinets

you may also want to check out Galien Krueger, Genz Benz and Eden/Nemesis equipment.

here is a fantastic sounding and reliable Behringer Bass setup: Behringer Bass V-Amp Pro with a Behringer A500 500W Reference-Class Studio Power Amplifier and a Seismic Audio 215 Cab. I also have a Seismic audio 210 bridged to the 215.
You can put this rig together for around $600.00

Thanks for all the help guys.

I may as well use this thread for another question hah.

Given the kind of music i play would it really matter which bass i use with a set up that say soundmanmike suggested?
My current one recently broke and I'm now going to be looking to buy a new one.
Any suggestions. Preferably a 5 string that will be suited for fingering .

Thanks again for all the help guys. Really opened my eyes up about this **** store that only seems to stock Behringers -_-

you cant go wrong with a P or J really but there lots of other good models to choose from.
Which ever your preference is, go to a reputable music store and play several within your budget and pick the one that speaks to you the loudest.
