uhh depends on your price range and what kinda sound you want. Im running my mark with a vader cab right now and it sounds really tight. Alot tighter than recto cabs imo

Maybe look into the orange cabs?

+1

I heard somebody run a dual rec through an orange 2x12, and it was the best I've ever heard out of a mesa head.

The Axe FX still has digital overtones that you simply CANNOT tweak out of any amp modelers (as of yet), that simply don't sound as good as a real tube head. The effects and cab modeling in it, however, are the cat's ass.

Vaders are fairly versatile, but I'd go with an Orange or Mills Acoustics (the latter if you have the money).
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

Yes.

Im so biased

But seriously, orange cabs will punch you in the face. Really directional, and sound the best at shows and open spaces.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
