What are your favourite chord progressions to play?

I love G D Am Em
or any progression involving Maj7 chords

I am the King of Carrot Flowers

#3
G D C or any slight variant of that..... so many songs have been played using this progression....
#4
I love this progression:

e-----x--------x--------x--------x-------------------------------------
B-----8--------8--------8--------8-------------------------------------
G-----7--------7--------7--------7-------------------------------------
D----*x-------*x-------*x-------*x-------------------------------------
A--------------------7--------5----------------------------------------
E--5--------7----------------------------------------------------------

It's from Dave Matthews Band song, #41. I just loooooove the way that it sounds. And found that if I play that slowly, I can sing a Whitesnake's "is this love" folk version

Am Em C G

I always end up playing this on my acoustic

I like a lot of different chord progressions, but it depends on my mood; sometimes I like the chord progression to "Invincible" by Muse, but sometimes i like "Fake Plastic Trees" by Radiohead or "Wish You Were here" by Pink Floyd....and the one to "Across the Universe" by The Beatles......But really, anything with suspended chords, add9's, maj7's, etc.....

My Favorite is probably A-Asus4-Dmaj9/F#-E6-Dsus2-A-Dsus2-Asus4 then repeat. Props to anyone who knows what song that is.

I also like C-D-Am-G-D-C-Am-G and G-Cadd9-D.

Dude. It's something called a falling fifths linear interval progression, or falling fifths LIP for short. It's this amazing chord progression used very commonly in the Baroque era by guys like Bach and Handel, and the amazing part about it is it cycles through every chord in an entire key with an amazing and conclusive rounded out sound as each chord flows into the next.

To play one, you'd simply take the tonic chord in a particular key and lower down a fifth again and again until you are back at the tonic. If you are very annoyed by trying to figure out the progression, here's how it would look in the key of A minor:

Am Dm G C F Bdim E Am

Really has a full sound to it and uses every chord in a particular key. Hope you guys enjoy

I have a lot of favorites. I will list them.

In no particular order:
-Am G F Em
-A F C G
-E Ab Db B
-G Eb Bb F
-C Ab Eb Bb

Most of those are punk chord progressions, except the first one.
