moneys getting a little tight, and im thinkin i might sell one of my guitars.

the one im thinking of selling got signed by the members of killswitch. would this increase the value considerably?

its a [2007] schecter tempest custom.

depends on the person who signed it and what their signature is worth to the buyer.

yeah a diehard KSE fan would probably buy it. if i was a diehard fan, i'd value it at/or a few bucks above the original retail value, assuming it's mint condition.

but that's just me....

If you're selling a guitar on ebay, KSE fans will bid at high prices to get it, regardless of what condition you have it, that's just how band fans are.

I'd have thought it'd be easier to skin the person if you met him face to face, but I could be wrong.

depends on the ink(brand, quality, series, pen that its in)

Also depends on where the signature is and if it is fading. If the signature is somewhere prominent and not likely to rub off, it'll definitely be more worth it than if its like where you rest your amp or where you pick.

Also, the size may matter some as well.

pretty much this exactly although i've seen a few people asking for $4500aud for some cheap ass guitar that's been signed by some aussie muso's and i don't think anyone with half a brain would buy it due to the massive amount of rip off. though i've also seen people price guitars lower then retail that have also been signed.

My Ibanez has a Paul Gilbert signature. But it wasn't marked up because of it.
