I asked earlier but I guess I was in the wrong part of the forum. I have a Washburn X-10. I've changed from 9 to 10 gauge strings. Now I want to go to 12 gauge strings but I'm afraid for my guitar. It's scale is 25.5 ,24 frets,it's truss rod hasn't been messed with. I want and will play only on Drop B the following month so I was wondering if I'm going to have to mess with the neck, truss rod etc.

String it up and find out. For heavier strings you would have to tighten but since its a loose tuning it may tighten itself. If you find it to bow loosen it slowly. Only about an 1/4 turn at a time. Remember to turn it clockwise.
