You did play an expensive guitar.

There is a 1968-1969 pickguard on ebay for a fender strat right now for $750.

Just for the pickguard.

The guitar is probably very expensive, especially if it's all stock.

If you want to get really technical about it..

1. Grab sticks.
2. Bang sticks on drums.

^how to play drums.

I'm gonna assume you played a 69 reissue, since there were no MIM strats around that time.

In which case, I have no idea on the value since I dont know when those were produced.

playing by yourself is like masturbating, sure it feels great, but it's nothing compared to the real deal.

you could get a good idea of its value by asking him how much he paid for it

Funny, those '69 MIM strat's sure were rare, that would make it priceless.

It was an RS then. And no there weren't Mexican factories in the 60's, I just assumed you were guessing it was MiM and were new to guitar.

Either it's a Reissue, or you need to seriously get your facts straight
