well what is it....?Ive heard its also called a turbo buster on guitars.my guitar has had one hever knew what it was whats it for???any help will be appreciated!

from what i understand, it's a battery operated way to boost the output of your pickups from your guitar using a switch. instead of a volume boost pedal. might be easier to use a switch on your guitar than a foot pedal. anyway, i'm sure somebody can come along and explain the exact details, but thats what i had thought

Anyway, in most situations, a boost circuit allows for a signal boost of around 10db.
