i wrote this a few weeks ago after a rather heavy night
its supposed to be a ska song, kind of like less than jakeish
its not finished yet, and im going to add some more verses with a change of tempo/rhythm/rhyme scheme
tell me what you think! (no abuse please, make the criticism constructive please)

Went out last night had way too much to drink
Woke up this morning with my face in the sink
My head is spinning and it’s on the brink
Last night was such a good night, I think?

I struggle to stand up with all my might
Whilst my heads running highlights of last night
‘I couldn’t really said that!’ ‘now is that right?’
And for the first time I notice this rooms damn bright!

Alcohol amnesia, always the best kind
Blurring the gap between the night and your mind
Always a sign of good times I cant help but find
We’ve all been there and we’ll do it again

I know there was booze and I had a few
The beer was damn good and I’m sure I knew
That if I had so much exactly what it would do
But I never stopped me, I know it wouldn’t you

Why did I get so wankered again?
Another night of whiskey, jager and gin
At the time it seemed I was on for a win
But the reality of it now just lays in my bin
