Im almost done with my new guitar. It's a '72 Thinline Tele with 3 color sunburst. I've got a seymour duncan distortion humbucker in the bridge and a seymour duncan custom 5 in the neck. Black pickguard, maple fretboard. It's gonna be sweet!
All i have left to do is rout the body for my trem bridge and i'll be done. I'll post pictures when i'm done with it.

EDIT: sorry if this isn't thread-worthy. im not here often and dont really know the rules all that well. Just wanted to share.

nice. you've got bridge holes drilled, I see. any reason why you're not using them?

as well, what kinda pickguard is that? looks funny...

it came that way. not using them cause im putting in a trem bridge instead of a fixed bridge. i thought it'd be pretty cool to have a tele with tremolo on it, which you dont really see often. thought it'd make it a bit more unique.
im pretty sure its an aftermarket pickguard. i got it off ebay for like $30. from the picture it doesnt really look like it fits but it does.
