Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone could take the time out to help me identify what scale is being played before this artist starts the actual song. The bit I mean is just from around 18 seconds in to about 30.

That's the link to the song to download or just open. Or you can just go here and click on the song 'Don't Play Guitar Boy in the player on the top right:

The scale at the start sounds sort of Spanish/classical i think. But to me it has a little bit of an indian feel to it as well. I'm sure it's really simple but I'm stumped. Some help from you wise guitarists out there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Sounds like Hungarian Minor (Harmonic minor with raised 4th). But you should post this in MT, not the pit

hard sciences don't have correct and incorrect answers actually
Thanks heaps. The song is in E so would it be a harmonic minor or hungarian minor in the key of E or something else? Thanks.
