Basically this is my acking track (attatched) and I need the drums doing most. I've had a go but I'm awful with drums on Guitar Pro 5. If you have any experience with drums on this program or another please edit the track.

Also, I'm debating whether to have a bass section or not, so if you're a bassist and are willing to write a simple bass line for the song it would be greatly appreciated (Em Pentatonic).

If you do decide to edit the track (MUCH appreciated!) please export it backto MIDI and outline any changes you made and post it back in this thread.

Thanks in advance guys.

EDIT: I would like to add that I know it doesn't harmonize perfectly, this is a draft and will be changed later.

Well a good starting place for drums is have the kick drum on 1, the snare on 3 and then some kind of hi-hat cymbal thing every whole or eight note. That's your dead standard beat, you can play around with it from there however you want.

thing is, I can't do them in the program I use very well, can you?

I play bass and drums. Mind if I have a go?

Please, go for it!

To the guys above: It's 2 tracks mixed, 1 of the tracks will have some slight imperfections which will be fixed

So do you want a vanilla beat or something with at least a little bit of personality? And I wrote a bass line too. Its simple for the most part.

I like it, it's great but can you make the drums more powerful if you know what I mean? There will be a distorted solo on top of this that's why.

I decided to have a go at it in my tired state

I copied the first two bars of your guitar part so that it repeats before the other instruments joined in. Feel free to get rid of that I just did that to help myself write it.

Lots of snare. Plus I threw in more cymbal work. Let me know what you think

J-Edit- **** I just realized that its in no way more powerful, just more technical. Fml. Oh well I'll revise it

Yeah didn't like it as much as the first, I think it's the marching/rolling drum thing that doesn't do it for me. Try again when you're awake if you want lol :p
