B-52's are only sold in the US.....sorry

but do you gig?? a Roland Cube 30x would do the job and you dont even need a Pedal

Yeah.. I have heard some great praises about the Roland Cubes.. and they are available here I think. I will try getting one if possible now as you say the AT112 aint avaible here.

Yeah a Roland Cube is probably the next best thing under that budget. Since you won't need a pedal, that tacks on another $100 you can spend, right?

Yeah.. but I had get a wah pedal then ...

BTW, does the Roland Cube 30x come with a footswitch of any sorts ?

not really.
the Vypyr 30 onwards has a Footswitch called the Sanpera I/II
the Sanpera lets you store in 400 extra presets and you can also use its looper and wah/whammy function

I have decided to go for Roland Cube 30x. It seems impressive. And I will save quite a bit too so I will invest that money in a cheap wah pedal and a multi effect proccessor like Zoom G2.1u or something.

For 400-500 euros, what amp, should I buy to play Megadeth´s, "countdown to exctinction" album.

Uhm, I guess it all depends on whos tone you're looking for from that album. For leads I believe Freidman used a Crate Blue Vodoo, they no longer make them but if you find one used it should be well in your price range. I think Mustaine has always used Marshalls, but I'm not to sure on that one. I also vaguely remeber there being some disageement over a preamp used during this recording as well.

I'd say look into some (used) JCMs, Blue Voodoos, and depending on what the market is like for them in europe used ENGL (it's what Friedman currently uses, as well as Chris Broderick who is Megadeths current lead guitarist).

Thank you, but those are completely out of my budjet LOL. I was searching for something like the bandit 112 but with better quality till the 500 euros. And I would like to get the tone of early Megadeth albums.

Really!? I would've thought that something like a used JCM2000 DSL/TSL would've been in you budget, same with a used Blue Voodoo. Here in Canada those go used for about $500-$650 so I thought they'd be around the same over there. I thought the ENGL would've likely been out of your budget, but maybe you'd have had some luck and found a used Thunder.

Well, for something cheaper ... you might want to check out a Peavey 6505 112 combo. It's one of the amps I've been looking into and I mainly play thrash and doom metal. You could check out one of the Vypyrs as well. Don't know how well it would work for a Megadeth tone but the Blackstar HT-5 is supposed to be pretty awesome for the price. Just some food for thought.
#137
I've been partial to the Flextone too. I'm a bedroom player so I can't crank it too often.

I own a Bugera 6262 212 combo amp. I reallly like it.

The lead channel (distortion) is really good.
Clean is good.
The Reverb is OK but still does its job.

It's a great amp.

What do yo guys think?

I don't have the Laney prcies in euros, but you can get a GH50L for about $600-700 and a GH100l for about 700-800.

A VH100R goes for around 900 or 1000

You should be able to get good VH tones with that.

Still, look up the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret. Check out some demos, see if you like it. If you don;t like it, get a Bad Monkey to push yuor VK

i have a badmonkey, but i am using my overdrive channel for blues so i want pedal for vh tone

was looking at the DLS, the "rawk" setting sounds too mid-scooped, pantera-ish to me rather than the EVH power and smoothness
