I have the standard YCV20. As a lower wattage 2 channel amp they are quite nice. The clean channel is good. The Overdrive channel can get a bit muddy if you over do the gain. The boost for the overdrive channel is not to my taste at all it sounds like a big muff or some kind of fuzz has been turn on. With an EQ pedal or some mods to fine tune the amp and tighten up the bass a bit it starts to sound pretty good. I like to hit the clean channel with an overdrive for a great rock kind of crunch. This kind of amp is not high gain like a messa though. I want to try minbe though a 4x10 cab as it sounds a bit small with a band.
