Alright, so I've had this guitar for a couple of years, and just decided to look into it. I know almost nothing about it, except that it is an Aria Diamond, and the model is a 1242. I have done an extensive search and can't find anything. So, if anyone has any knowledge of this guitar, that would be awesome.

Little update. I emailed the company, and they responded with this. So yeah, for any future generations wondering the same ineffable mysteries of life and guitars as myself.

Dear Ryan,

1242 was produced in the late 1960s in Nagano, Japan.
Unfortunately it was before our product archive started
and we have very little documents/pictures left.

If you can send me digital images of your guitar, I might be able to
identify it to help you further.

Thanks for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Toshi

Quite a nice looking semi hollow might I add.

That green burst is awesome. My hollowbody has a blue burst like that. Sexiness

Edit: The correct term for the color is Opaque Starburst Green
