I have been looking around google and to be honest, im so confused.
So, my question is, once you have the guitar body, it looks like a piece of wood, what happens next?
And would this work: Stain the guitar with some nice wood stain, and that just layers of lacquer after? How many coats?

Please just tell me how this all works, I want to take the finish off of a old Squier I have so I can refinish it. What will I need to do to take the finish off of it?

Just please tell me everything about re-finishing a guitar.

Thank You

Don't be ridiculous. That would take hours.
