It doesn't "suck" perse. Its a matter of opinion. For bedroom practice, i think its a good amp. It's cheap and has all the effects you may need minus a wah. Which saves alot of money.

If your talking about gigging? Then yes it does suck. Its got a very digital sound, and is a modeling amp, so its tone is very blah.
