sorry if theres already a thread on this but...

Is there a way to add colour to a single item in a black and white photo.
Say i wanted it all black and white but have just the shirt coloured how would i go about doing this?

ummm i dont know how to d it if the photos already in black and white, and there may be easier ways to do this, but if its in colour:
press Q to make a quick mask, select paint brush, and colour in the entirety of what you want to stay cooloured. when you're done press Q again, then go onto select, and press invert. Then on edit or something, find desaturate and press that.

Make a new layer, set the layer to overlay and put the opacity down a bit. Then just use brushes to colour bits in.
