We got a thread about depressing lyrics, and songs that sound sad, and dark sounding piano music (which I have personally stickied ^_^...)

But, I seem to notice a lack of "happy song" threads. This is it! Post your favorite happy-sounding songs here. This can mean anything, whether it makes you feel good about yourself, has happy lyrics, sounds happy/upbeat, etc. Go!

Vengaboys - We Like to Party
The Beatles - With A Little Help From My Friends
The Beatles - Getting Better
Bob Marley - I Shot The Sheriff
Beck - Where It's At
Wamdue Project - King of My Castle
Laurent Garnier - The Sound of the Big Babou

Three Little Birds - Bob Marley

I'm listening to it right now and can't help but to feel happy.

A kid took a fetal pig during pig dissection, put a napkin on it as a cape, wrote "super pig" on it, then threw it out the window onto the greenhouse below, yelling "super pig, blast off!". He failed the pig lab

The last minute or so of Aspirations by Between the Buried and Me never fails to make me happy. There are a few songs on the new August Burns Red album, like Meddler, for instance, that have really uplifting melodic parts. And most Children of Bodom songs have that feeling as well.

I'm not entirely sure I get why Where It's At is such a happy song, but whatever...

I dunno. The lyrics aren't particularly happy (or sad) but I always seem upbeat during/after the "I got two turntables and a microphone" part.

I Shot the Sheriff is an odd choice, but I can kinda see it. A lot of Marley's stuff is hard to not feel happy to: Is This Love, Three Little Birds, Sun Is Shining, Iron Lion Zion, Roots Rock Reggae, No Woman No Cry. There's more but I can't be arsed listing them.

Eye Know - De La Soul is a big happymaker for me also.
I'm so adjective, I verb nouns.

In the 22nd century, how many guitarists is needed to replace a light source?

Five. One to actually do it, and four to reminisce about how much better the old tubes were.
