Does anybody know much about these bridges that come stock on some of the newer jaguars? It's similar in style to a regular tuneomatic, however I can't find any information about whether or not they need angled necks like your regular tuneo. I'd normally imagine it would require one, but angled necks aren't something that Fender seem to do.

For reference, see this pic of a new jazzmaster:

If it doesn't require an angled neck that would be quite awesome. I've wanted a TOM for an upcoming build but didn't want to be bothered with the neck angle and stuff.

I know this is off topic, but didnt Kurt Cobain design these guitars?
My gear so far:

-Crybaby Wah
-Danelectro Cool Cat
-Fender Twin Reverb 65' Reissue
-Hardwire TL2

It may be recessed into the body so that it wouldn't need an angled neck.

No, he designed the Jagstang. The Jazzmaster's been around since the 60s.

Nay, they're definately not recessed, which is why I'm so curious.
