EPIC fail. The Proteus 2000 is a lifesaver when looking for sounds that aren't quite real, but aren't electronic either.

You wouldn't get one free. Expect to pay a lot (orchestras don't come cheap you know... Edirol Virtuoso is "only" £50 and it has a soundset over a decade old). I'd try to use a synth VST to do it - might sound a bit trancey though...
