Hi, I see on my classic 30 that there are three "tone" controls. Treble, Mids, and Bass

If I crank all three, will that mean I have the best "tone"?

Because all the "tone" controls are maxed it'll be putting out the highest "tone" possible, right?

Also they go up to 12, does that mean my amp has more tone than all those boutique amps that only go to 10?

This is a joke right?

If not all the 'tone' means is how much there is, such as the Treble on 12 would be very, well, trebly.

EDIT; must definatly be a Joke, he's an '07er, those guys can be dodgy at times

*finally actually decides to answer thread in an attempt not to look like a jerk*

Do you know what an EQ pedal is?????
basically thats what the EQ knobs do.
If you want a bassy sound, turn the bass to full and the other knobs down.
Think of the EQ as a tone shaper, not a tone increaser.
I don't think you're a troll, but seriously..... for an accomplished UGer like you and looking at all the gear you have, I seriously am disappointed for you asking this question.
