Here's a song I wrote:

There she stood in front of me
Skin soft- body bare
Her eyes speak of nothing but
A mindful eye that wasn't there
Her lips move her body gyres
Hypnotized robotic stare

Adrenaline feeds
A testosterone high
Instinct feeds
Animal awry

....And in the mood I saw a flash
Of what was before me
Not long ago she was a queen
Young face a-light with a dream
My heavy heart began to bleed
Washed away this candid scene

Serenity...Serenity...Serenity...

Do I stay?
Do I turn away?
How did you come to this?
With your eyes blank
and your body bare?

Serenity...serenity...serenity...
Serenity...serenity...serenity...

I feel like some parts the language is too strong or whimsical it it just becomes melodramatic or sappy. I don't know tell me what you think...
