I was on the comp, like normal. Talking on facebook, listening to itunes, etc. Normal stuff.

Randomly.
My computer freezes, and I hear ONE, continuous long beep come from the CPU tower.

I manually restart.

Happens again after opening up Mozilla.

I manually restart.

Internets working fine, I'm browsing, open up Itunes. Itunes opens, then it does it again

Manually restart

I try to open just itunes, does it again

Manually Restart

I'm now just browsing on Mozilla and it seems fine, but whenever I open up a big program like Itunes, it does it again.

I'm running a Dual Core Processor XPS 400,
I looked at ALL the beep codes, and theres not a single code for one long, sustained beep.

*EDIT*
If I browse for about half an hour, it does it again.

What could be the problem
What could of caused it
And solutions.

Or just anything that could help.

Ram.

I just hope it isn't a hard drive failure in the making.
If it's RAM, what do I do, just buy more RAM?

I'd check your CPU temps to make sure it's not overheating.
Also, like stated above, it could be RAM.
Check to make sure nothing inside your compy is loose?

Yeah, I turned off the CPU for a few hours and went back on and still had the problem, SO I'm pretty sure it's not a heating issue.

Is RAM a hard problem to fix?
My bad for all the qs, just not tech. savvy.
