Kickass guitar =] How long did it take you to get that all set up?

About 3 months I suppose, took a lot of googling and forum searching to figure out what kind of pickups to get and how to wire it as it was my first venture into the exciting world of guitar modding!
Also took awhile to gather enough money for it, and waiting for the locking tuners to come in the mail (last part I needed) was pretty brutal haha

It was a Mexican Standard

Where did you get that pickguard?

Your guit. is pretty similar to my strat - A Squier Affinity which has been modded to hell and back. And mine also has a coil split by pulling up the volume pot.

awesome guitar
always wanted to try those little humbuckers (yes, I dn't know the brand nor nothing)

sexy pickguard FTW
[quote="'[VictorinoX"]']It's the sound of Satan himself ripping through the electronics in the guitar....

It's a pinch harmonic, dude.
#24
Thanks guys!!

The humbucker is a Seymour Duncan Little 59'
It's a nice sounding pickup but I'm glad I installed a switch to put it in parallel and split mode otherwise it probably wouldn't have had the high end I want sometimes.

Very nice looking! It's good to see some great mods that are done without messing anything up. I love the pickguard, I think it accents the burst very well.
Also, I'm digging the 20 possible tones. But you forgot to factor in different tone and volume pot values.

Funny thing is I actually bought the pickguard before the guitar. I saw the pickguard on ebay when I was thinking about getting a strat to mod and I just thought it'd be a nice fit for a sunburst. Only problem was I had to drill and sand the pickup and screw holes a little bigger to fit the pickups.

Is that the joker in pickguard in the last pic? XD

Anyways, thats a damn nice Strat bro.

Your guitar looks beautiful now, that pickguard goes very well with the burst finish. Plus the pickups go well with the pickguard.
