Last one this year, I swear. Words can describe how awesome this thing sounds. It sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO big, and the midrange will tear your ****ing head off. Sounds incredibly organic for being a high gainer..and engl no less.

And my engl family thus far...

Was too busy tweakin this son of a bitch to get all the heads together for a family shot. Maybe later.

Stay tuned for an incoming Nitro or Rivera Knucklehead Reverb 100 next summer

LOL, the only reason I say that is because if I had that much money, I'd spend all the money on a Diezel Herbert and Engl SE that I could use together, instead of 5 that I couldn't

I really want one of those Titans though. There's a guy on HC selling one extremely cheap, but I can't sell anything to buy it

SE can't get in Savage territory, and fball sounds close enough to ch4 of SE which is all I'd use. I'm not lookin to play a stereo setup (yet anyways). Also, this way I get 5 distinct voicings I like instead of 2. More bang for the buck imo.

It's midrange is similar to a fireball...it's more aggressive, thick, and saturated. It's much more midrangey than the fireball, that's for sure. More percussive attack, and a tad more bite. I won't even get started with the powerball because I hate that amp, and IMO the savage defecates all over it.

I'm not mega keen on the Powerball either. It sounded nice cranked though.

The Fireball already had quite a bit of bite to it. It did seem a little scooped in the mid-range, but only by a slight amount. Not enough to deter me from it's tone. I was always of the opinion that the Fireball was the most aggressive amp ENGL made? It was never overly saturated though, which was a nice quality.
