im using a SV212 and when i use the decimator bypass or with it on it makes my cleans real muddy. i literally just got in the mail (used) and it still had a 9v battery in it...is it the battery and should i just go buy a 9v adapter or what?

Why would you use a decimator on your clean channel?

EDIT: Why would you use a decimator with an amp that already has a noise gate? You don't put pedals on a modeling amp!

im using it on a clean channel, im just saying when its bypassing the signal it makes the sound real muddy rather than if i just plug right into the amp...and its not really a "pedal" its just a noise gate in the form of a pedal

that's like saying an OD pedal isn't a pedal, it's just overdrive in the form of a pedal...
