in your typical single coil telecaster standard scratchplate, can you fit a single coil pick up?

i dunno if its just me but the tele neck single coil looks small than your avergae single.

Also if I were to put in a seymour duncan little 59 or even a humbucker in my tele would I have to do some rewiring?

I think the issue is routing?

You'd have to cut a chunk of wood out of the guitar to fit the humbucker in.
The gear:

* Epiphone Les Paul Custom
* Schecter Jeff Loomis Signature 7 String
* Fender Squier P Bass
* Blackstar Stage HT-60
* Original Crybaby
* EHX Small Clone
* Boss DD-3

what about the single coil sized humbuckers? the size of the seymour duncan hot rails? Would I still have to rewire my tele?

Sure. You desolder the old pick up, and solder in the new one. Should easy, unless you can't solder.

ah cheers thats ok then, i thought with it being a humbucker i had to wire it differently to a single coil. Thanks

The stock Tele neck single coil is slightly smaller than regular single coils.
