I just ordered a POD 2.0 to experiment with. If I were to plug it direct into my laptop which 1/8in jack port would I use: microphone, or headphones.

Thanks

POD 2.0 doesn't have USB IIRC. (I didn't recieve it yet) You put it into the computer (at least that's what others have told me.

I'm assuming I'd use the microphone slot, right?

Yes but the sound won't be great. If you can afford a Pod you can afford an interface, surely.

I already have an interface, mixer, Sm57's etc etc... at my dads house.

This just for quick clips over here at my moms house

If you want to record with pod tones... why not use pod studio ux1.... i made the mistake of getting a 2.0 and then a studio... two in one = pod x3

Have any of you guys seen musicman1066's vids on youtube? he records a 2.0 right into his mic slot and it sounds decent enough for me. I think I'll just try that.

Thanks
