I'm looking for a good and CHEAP amp. It has to be good for metal and blues. I don't gig. I just play at home for fun. I want an amp with a very good sound and cool effects. And it can't be too big...
Any ideas?

And Def Leppard aren't cool. Hell, rabies and Robert Mugabe are cooler.

Cube 15x is great for metal. Cleans are ok too. About $100 or 100 euro from Thomann or less if you shop around.

"i want an amp that has:"

awesome cleans,
awesome crunch,
awesome distortion,
awesome built in effects,
awesome sound,
not too small,
not too big...

ohh, and i dont want to pay anything for it.

any ideas?

perfect amp = cost money.

thus, you should get a digital modeling amp.

A. there cheap
B. they have effects
C. they come in a variety of sizes
D. they can create more or less any tone

BUT.

E. they sound digital (duhh)

if you dont care about it, or, cant even hear the difference between a digital and solid state/tube amp, then there's your answer.

otherwise save your pennies

This is a pretty accurate statement. Having said that, if you gotta get one, Roland Cube 30 and Vox DA 20 are probably your best bets, but try as many as you can.

i have one myself and its not too bad, (line 6 spider 2)

not the greatest amp, but its just a little practice thingo and pulls pretty well.

the roland CUBEs are pretty awesome (better than spiders IMO)

considering roland make some of the best effects (gguitar and synth stuff), its safe to say that they would have a better product

the cubes are unique, and when maxxed out on there metal setting, sound pretty over te top.
