I'd say alot of stuff by Pavement, I don't know many people who are that into them. Also, stuff by Aphex Twin, under many of his alias' such as Polygon Window and AFX.

Journey : Of A Lifetime

It's from their first album, no one seems to know this side of Journey. The band had (I think) 3 albums without Steve Perry that were very different than their pop driven days after Steve Perry joined the band. Granted they were much less successful then, but they were also way different. Way different than "Don't Stop Believin'." Listen to that solo around 4:45!
