Hey, its me ( again )
so i love thrash metal but i want to learn a LOT more theory from a teacher when i get around to it, anyways i draw my inspirations from war and death and i thought i might share what i have come up with so far with you guys, so here is my song
its called

Warfield

The Chill of battle
A Ground scorched raid
Bombs are killing
Like a nuclear plague
A frontal assault
Storming the Guns
May the thrash gods
look on their chosen ones

They are resorting to a chemical attack
We mow them down as they are pushed back
Wolves clad in kev, a mighty deadly foe
Citizens cower in fear as they view this terror show

Viewing the terrorist outpost
We charge for their keep
Blowing apart the doors
As the fog begins to seep
Men are dying
Choking for their lives
Protected by our gas masks
We shout our metal cry

The end not far above
Circling the zone
More troops arive
Now their not going home
We slaughter the enemy
Severing their heads
You raise your knife to their neck
And they know this is the end

Dead bodies strewn across the battlefield
But you cannot stop, you know you have to kill
An unquenched thirst
For unholy blood
A razor spray of lead
Begins to fill their heads

The soldiers in the room await
They know were the enemy at their gates
We smash down their doors
And now the blood will spill more

Kicking over tables
Breaking chairs over their heads
Sending a spray of bullets
As you put them to rest
Grenade pins are pulled
As the shrapnel begins to fly
You know the awnser but the people ask why
A mindless war
Waged with blood shed
But you feel no remorse
As your bullets crack their heads
You find this great
And you know theres more to come
They lay dead by your hand
By your evil plans

More people to kill
More faces to raze
You feel the rush
As their bones begin to crush
We are the force
Bringing a new holocaust
Their eyes are burning
and their flesh is churning
The dead are burnt till black
And their flesh made anew
Their bones are drenched with corrosive like spew
The enemy returnes
With the men in a craze
High on drugs
The all begin to rush
As the bullets start to fly
the first thought is to duck but
( wait, what the f*cks that? )

SUICIDE TRUCK
( BANG!! )

i plan to actually use this so this is just to get your opinions, let me know what you think of what i have come up with here, i tried to make it not to cliche

what kind of thrash are you trying to write like a slayer-type sound or something like exodus

Im going for a war scenario, i draw reference from South Of Heaven so i was inspired by Mandatory Suicide for these particular riffs.
But the beat is a lot fast and there are some parts where it slows down, then hits right back up

i like them dude, very nice. i personally like the whole war scenario lyric writing stuff. i think that if do use these lyrics, with the right instruments and sounds you could have a very sexy little song. keep up the good work

Haha, thanks man yeah i love the whole war thing, people being blown up and bombs and stuff goin off, fits the whole scene very well, i've only been into thrash and guitar for about 5 1/2 months now but this IS my first effort so im glad to hear that

I think it's pretty good, particularly like this line:

"And their flesh made anew
Their bones are drenched with corrosive like spew"

The only thing I don't like is the thrash worship such as:

"May the thrash gods
look on their chosen ones"

and

"We shout our metal cry"

That goes for all thrash, not just these lyrics. It's completely irrelevant. Also, bear in mind you're writing a song about war, not about thrash.

Man, you better have some pretty kickass music to back that up, because that's about as generic as it gets. And you instantly loose a billion points for mentioning thrash itself in a thrash song.

Sorry, I bet I sound like a dick. You have some good foundations there, but you need to make it just a little bit more interesting, it needs to have some kind of attraction and focus of it's own. As it stands, it's like you're actively trying to hit every cliché in thrash

Keep it up man, we'll have a good lyricist of you yet.

First band that came to my mind when reading your lyrics was Sabaton, all their lyrics are about wars battles and skirmishes.
No one throws away porn, their like heirlooms, pass them down your family tree!
