I'm currently building my rackmount for my home studio

i Have a phonic 8 plug power conditioner

Rocktron INtellifex, (time based effects...chorus, delay, flange etc)

Behringer Compressor Pro MDX 2200 compressor

I am looking to see what else i would need, i never need to record more than 2 or 3 mics at once

a tube preamp? another compressor? a bbe sonic maximizer?

I have an edirol ua-25ex interface and good monitors

what else might i need? suggestions are welcome

it depends. what program do you use? if your recording with protools..all you really need is some sort of adat interface that can hold many more mic inputs. i use a beringher one. i highly reccomend it.

then id stay away from anymore external effects. really...you shouldbe doing most of the mixing onboardin the recording program. so that the compression and such can be done in the mastering process....
