I would go with the ESP LTD FX-260 looks way better, Plus it has push/pull control for different tone!

I think the korina Epi looks better, but the ESP probably plays nicer. I've heard they are higher quality than Epiphones, too.

I was thinking the same thing, the ESP is probably better, plus I can get my local music store to order me one.

I'll keep this open yet incase someone else has played one...

I would go with the LTD, based on the coil split and I think it's supposed to have better electronics (I think).

But the Epi looks better IMO

I already have a black guitar, and I honestly don't like the black/white/gold color on the epi.

Go with the Epi, its made out of a way better tonewood (Korina far surpasses agathis), and is probably more versatile in the long run.
My name is Collin, please feel free to use it

this is absolutely, 100% correct.
For example, Dave Mustaine has a signature coffee mix.

ESP is Mahogany, not agathis, at least according to their site

My bad, i thought it was the EX. At that point, go with what feels better. Both could probably do with an pickup swap though.

I myself enjoy the necks of Gibson and Epiphones, but of the two, I would grab that LTD. Maybe because I'm a Hetfield fanboy
