Good/Bad?

I play a weird mix, kinda my band's own style of music.

Think:

mixed with
http://www.myspace.com/youngmosaics
mixed with
Death Cab for Cutie...

Would this be a good setup?

Fender Strat with EMG SV's >> OCD Overdrive >> Digidelay >> Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue

You can't go wrong with the OCD unless you're trying to play Stevie Ray Vaughn or something.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

You can pull off Stevie Ray stuff with a OCD.

Really?

I always thought mine sounded more overdriven JMP/Plexi - ish

It does. You were right. But I guess you could set the gain real low and use a TS808 in front to kinda approximate the later SRV tone but it's not gonna do it on its own. It really shines when playing early Clapton and late 60s blues rock though.
