I am tempted to buy a squire bullet strat from argos for £99

I have heard it's a beginners guitar but i am a very experienced player and I own an Epiphone Les Paul Custom already which is really nice.....

Do you think I would find a squire to be crap in comparison?

Yes
By the way, if you're an experienced player, why would you even consider it? You could always mod it, but it's not worth getting and playing an out of the box one.

The Les Paul Custom is much better already.

Why exactly do you want to buy a crap guitar like that?

They're decent if they're set up right, but don't expect mind blowing sound.

Yes, the Bullet Strat is the worst guitar Squier makes.

The only Squier Strats worth a damn - and I do mean the only ones - are the Classic Vibe series. The Bullet, Affinity and Standard are all the same low-quality agathis crap. The Vintage Modified series have slightly nicer stock pickups but that's their only advantage and are otherwise just as bad as the others. The Classic Vibe series are around the same quality as a Mexican-made Fender Standard Strat for a bit less money, so they're alright.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

Ok I think I will wait till I have enough money to buy a real fender standard strat.

Why would you think a Squier is the same as a Fender in the first place?
Squier = £99
Fender Standard = £500

Says it all really...

Also, this made me lol:
