Which valvestate? Does it have the preamp tube?

I'm kinda interested in the amp. It's the original MG, but they say it was actually a fairly good amp, unlike today's MGs. Wish I had a chance to try one out.

Well it sounds nothing like the MG, minus the gain. But I use a Big Muff, so that doesn't really matter. And yes, it has the preamp tube. The guy even replaced the 12ax7 before I bought it! Plus, when it's clean with reverb, it sounds just like a Fender.
