Hey guys, my brothers ex girlfriend gave him this guitar for his birthday about 6 months ago(they've now split up), last month he went traveling and basically said have this guitar do what you want with it sell it whatever.

I can't play guitar and have picked this up probably twice since he gave it me, since it's just taking up room I've decided to sell it.

I believe these are the correct specs for it:

‘72 Telecaster Deluxe

Maple, 12” Radius (305mm)

No. of Frets:
21 Medium Jumbo

2 Fender® “Wide Range” Humbucking Pickups, (Neck/Bridge)

Volume 1. (Neck Pickup),
Tone 1. (Neck Pickup),
Volume 2. (Bridge Pickup),
Tone 2. (Bridge Pickup)

Pickup Switching
3-Position Toggle:
Position 1. Bridge Pickup
Position 2. Bridge and Neck Pickups
Position 3. Neck Pickup

Fender Super 250L, Nickel Plated Steel, (.009 to .042), p/n 073-0250-003

The attach files bit is saying they are too big so I have uploaded the pictures to imageshack:

I'll be honest I have no idea at all how much(if anything) this guitar is worth, if you are interested feel free to send me a PM.

If you decide to sell it, let me know a price because I am very interested thanks!

Just looking at it briefly I would say it is an American telecaster, so its over £1000

if it is don't get ripped off! lol

Erm wow, thought it'd be worth about 100 max.

Thanks for the info appreciate it.
you got a asume brother
they go for like 400 on ebay
i like the customs better since i like the telecaster headstocks
Looking at the pictures closely, I'm not sure thats a real Fender.

If you look at that shot it looks like the entire name is a decal. It's got a side-adjusting truss rod when all the Fender models I can find have a 70s style bullet truss rod that adjusts at the top of the neck. The pickups aren't Fender Wide Range pickups, those are regular humbuckers, so the pickguard isn't standard either and it's got locking tuners.

I think someone's built this from parts and slapped a Fender Decal on the headstock, Then again I could be completely wrong and it's just had a lot of upgrades.
Skeet UK is awesome, he can get WD Music parts discounted.
