just got a killswitch today.. i did it this way:


Using an N.C. switch

With this switch you create a break in the line.

Note: I had a report from site reader Max that this version just results in a hum rather than silence when pressed. If that's the case, break the "hot" (or "power") wire instead.


and yes it was just a hum no silence so i wired it with the power-wire instead...and it works great..

i was just playing on my fender frontman and i wanted to play with my headphones on.i was killswitching a bit (my phones are crappy ****ed up)..it squeeled a bit...and silence..my amp light dosent light up and now i'm pretty pissed...was it becouse of my killswitch wiering or becouse of the phones?? hope the phones..please help

so the phones could be so ****ed up that they killed the amp

or maybe the amp just broke, ****ty ss amp
or the power cord has been pinched

sure it was the killswitch my uncle did it for me...now i see that he didnt wire it to the volume pot but did it a other way...sure it could be it?

i'm scared to play on another amp..
