Ok before i get attacked for having this in the wrong forum let me give a shot at explaining myself! The reason for putting this here is because it's more for my skill developing than enjoyment, so on that note!

Reccomend me some good Hard Rock (not metal) albums, preferably ones that you feel inspired you to learn and are recognised for being good albums.

Thanks in advance

Paranoid and Masters of Reality by Black Sabbath. Arguably metal or Hard Rock,... but whatever.

Octavarium - Dream Theater. (Prog...slightly metal)

Yeah... Things like Tool are good for inspiration too. Don't take them too seriously though. (Like all their over the top fans do)

Sorry, but sabbath are the founders of Heavy Metal, So how can it be classed as hard rock?

Aerosmith's first four albums, AC/DC's albums up to back in black, Led Zeppelin I-IV, Deep Purple's Machine Head.. that's about all I can think up at the moment.

I agree that Sabbath are always good to recommend, I think I just get pissed off with the emo kids where I live telling me Sabbath aren't metal. Sorry to jump on you like that pal.

You are now forgiven.

I don't own albums... It got the Greatest Hits I & II from a friend once, but I don't know if that counts.

As a golddigger in a hard rock and 70's based rock, I could probably come up with a lot of albums. But I choose to instead of doing that recommend THE ONE that did the trick for me

Withcraft - Witchcraft (2004) many places this is seen as a doom metal album, but it isn't. The band just has some doom metal influences.
1971 - was the f***ing year
Bobby Liebling is the man!
