so i'm wanting to work on my sweep picking, and i was wondering if you guys know of any good songs with sweep picking in them for me to practice with? It doesn't matter what genre.

leper messiah by metallica has a brief sweeping section, and duncan hills coffee jingle by dethklok has some good sweeps to learn

Learn the basic major and minor shapes. Get comfortable at playing them CLEANLY, then learn songs that integrate them.

Someone should put a sticky thread about sweeping stuff and to begin with because everyday someone makes a thread about sweep picking! Someone teach them how to use the search bar!!!

Eugene's trick bag is good practice, for larger sweeps, all that means to a beginner is to do it slower to start with. Richie Kotzen's rock chops video has a few good sweeping exercises on it. The tab for that is on here.
