Heres the deal. Im playing a party in a little over a month and want to make a good impression. I want to be playing song thats are well known. They dont have to be extremely flashy just good party songs. So far ive put together some songs i will be playing while my friend sings. I will be using acoustic and electric.(ps. I havent been playing very long)

Brown eyed girl.
The weight-the band.
Hotel california(acoustic version)
free fallin(acoustic version)
Sweet caroline(acoustic)
and an original.

Any other songs would be great and an order to play them in. Im pretty clueless since this will b my first gig. Thanks!

Well, what kind of music do you plan on playing? I tried judging by the songs already listed, but they're pretty well mixed up.

Plus, naturally I scream satanic rituals while unleashing the demon. It's a marvelous resurrection.

Dani California - RHCP
Anything by Sabbath
Anything by Skynyrd
Don't Cry, Used To Love, Knockin' On Heaven's Door - GNR
Crazy Train, Flying High Again - Ozzy
Anything by Zeppelin

Suggestions to fit most crowds. Don't really know the people you're playing for (obviously), so I can't make a sound decision. These seem pretty well-rounded though.

Wait. What kind of amp are you using for this anyway. All I see is the Micro Cube in your sig, so I take it you have a bigger one?

Hot Dog by Led Zeppelin (off of Coda) will cover country and Zeppelin in one song

One tip: make sure you have a drummer and a bass player! In will turn any mediocre sing-along into something somebody might find enthralling. If you can't find a drummer and bass player, make sure your groove is tight

Ill be using a PA system and a blues jr.

I'm trying to find a bassist and a drummer that are really into music. I am in a band but both of them dont care or really enjoy music like i do. Im trying to put together a band to play a full hourlongish show. I guees i have to wait it out.

Where do you live? You could probably post something about it on the band members forum and find someone near you unless you live in the boondocks.
