I wanna hear the Memory Boy and Memory Toy. Hopefully they'll sound decent. And the 22 Caliber is confusing me.

Yes, what can one do with a 22 watt ss power amp?

Edit:

Maybe get six of them and run a different OD/distortion into each at the same time then run each one to a 1x12.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

I know. I can't understand what the purpose of this would be. Make a small SS power amp to turn up and get teh beautiful SS clipping at bedroom volumes. Genius. The clip didn't provide any ideas as to how it sounds since there was the damn Big Muff on top of it.

22 Caliber, POG2, Memory Boy and Memory Toy are the only ones that interest me. I <3 the EHX pedals I like though, so =D

Despite the ridiculousness, I guarantee there will be hordes of young EHX fanboys who will want them.

I think that its for portability. Instead of carrying your head over to a friends house for a little jam, just take this.

With SS, you could probably do it with 22 tube watts. And you can't forget atleast an EQ pedal for some tone shaping. I can't see people buying this unless it's really cheap or they're EHX fanboys. A cheap tube combo would be a much better option for the purpose he stated and for recording, a ZVEX Nano would dominate it.

He said little jam.. I wouldnt count getting over drums as a little jam.

Also you would be suprised just how loud those mini amps can get. I've plugged my smokey .5 watt amp into my cab on more the on occasion and at actually pretty loud. Loud enough I have to turn it down for most occasions.

Just wait for nightraven to come in and rip the .22 Cal apart! lol

Anyway, I think it, paired with a 1x10 cab, would be ideal for those with a modeller like the POD, ME or RP series, for small apartments and dorm rooms. Also, they say that you get a nice OD from it when you crank it. It isn't that bad.....sure the video quality ain't the greatest either. I would just like to know how it's cleans are. If it has decent headroom, I'd take it.

If the amp's EQ knobs can't get it to sound any good then neither will a pedal.

If it had a decent enough clean sound, I would definitely try to rehouse it with a small speaker and just make a nice little travel amp.

First off, we're talking about the .22 Calibre, which has no EQ knobs. Second, even if we were talking about an amp with an EQ on-board, you'd be dead wrong.

this is a stupid idea. EHX is a tube manufacturer! wtf is this?

kinda what I was thinking. If they had put it into one of their big Tube Pedals, it would have much more potential.

Nightraven, you are right, in 99.9% of situations, this will not do anything that a superior product can't, but depending on the price, there will be a few situations where this really is the only option.

Yeah, realised that after I posted, feel a bit silly.

But I still disagree. It's like your cat's litter tray; if it starts to smell, you change it, you don't just spray a ton of air freshener around it hoping it'll get better.

I leave my on-board EQ flat, then tweak on the pedal. The difference isn't the amount the EQ changes the signal, it's the number of bands I can change. With the pedal, I can alter 7 bands, with the on-board, only 3...

Edit: Also, my amp doesn't smell/sound like cat ****.

Dear God, I just watched some videos of the POG2, and I'm gasing like no other. I think it may be time to sell some gear to fund the "Holy crap my guitar sounds like an organ!" endeavour. That plus DL-4 and Verbzilla are gonna be mindblowing.

The ProGuitarShop video of the POG2 has a friggin' MALEKKO 616 in it.
