Hey. Well my band in school will be playing in a concert for cancer, and we needed a good Iron maiden song. We'll have 3 guitarists, and atleast 1 keyboard if required. We were looking for something with 3 guitar parts, preferably 2 leads(harmonized or something) and a rhythm. Our initial suggestion was Hallowed Be Thy Name, but it's pretty overplayed, so we have to look for something else like that. Important thing, harmonized leads

Thanks a lot!

Aren't there a lot of Maiden songs that are already harmonized? I think Fear of the Dark is, for one, but that's overplayed too.

for songs written with 3 guitarists, from their last 3 albums... Try Brave New World/Blood Brothers. From Dance of Death, personally i'd go for the title track. Or, as it's awesome, go for Out of the Shadows from A Matter Of Life and Death.

"The Legacy" is a GREAT example of 3 guitars [One doing a melody, one doing a fast arpeggio, one doing rhythm]

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.

Well my band played The Trooper in a show, it really wasn't a show, it was a three song trial run in front of musicians in the area to make sure we sounded good. We have three guitarist, they loved it, they said the harmonies worked great, and it was high energy which pumped the audience up. Also the solos are really easy to learn.

Phantom of the opera is without a doubt the coolest song ever, BUT....

... when you are with 3 guitarists, you have to play VERY accurate, because otherwise it becomes a muddy mess that no one will ever recognise. Its very delicate. If you are good enough, my vote goes to that song. Otherwise, i'd say Hallowed be thy name. Quite easy, and a f*cking lot of fun to play, really. And it sounds spectacular and awesome too. Considder it!
