So there's this guy who want's to trade his marshall jcm 200 tsl100 (from what I've heard one of the best marshall's out there) with my hughes and kettner tube 50 + 350eu.
Will the marshall be a big improvement?
Is it worth the extra 350eu?
I play post-rock, sludge and sometimes doom music (for wich I would buy a fuzz).
Should I go ahead with the deal?

The TSL's aren't that great, and aren't Huges and Kettner amps pretty decent?

Also, if it's an older TSL (I think post 2005) there's a chance it'll have a few issues with it.

Well, yeah the h&k is very decent, but I would like separate EQ's for my 4 channels, now I have 4 channels with 2 EQ's, then I will have 3 channels with 3 EQ's.
The h&k is a great amp, but it's not much worth these day's, if I'm lucky I will get 500eu for it.

Well as I said, get the date and make sure he lets you try it first.

And if the amp's condition is great, I should buy it?

I'd say try and knock 100 euros off the price, your amp + 350 euros is a little much

Also, couple of simple rules when buying a used tube amp -
Smell it, you should know how a good tube amp smells, if it smells like that, then nothing burnt inside it.
Feel it/listen, is the head vibrating/humming? (Not from the speaker) if so, the transformers might be starting to die.
