I have a few questions regarding E-drum sets. Can I buy the pads separately and make my own drum set or do I need to buy a kit? If I can buy pads separately do they all need to be the same brand?

Also, can I use any module with and E-drum set?

Oh ya, I don't care if you prefer acoustic drums over electronic. Your opinion doesn't matter to me.

Thanks

a trigger is a trigger. as long as it uses the same kind of plugs/ is normally open/closed depending on what the module calls for, you're good

you can do either... buy a kit and expand on it with aftermarket triggers, or just buy a module and individual triggers..

but if you buy a kit, it's more likely to come with all the mounting hardware/frame..
