"Tony has joined the Ibanez family and will now be playing Ibanez 6, 7, and 8-string guitars exclusively.

"It's a real honor to be part of the Ibanez endorsee family," said Tony, "and I'm looking forward to breaking out the 7 and 8-strings on the road!" "

A Tony Macalpine signature Ibanez would be amazing...

I once saw somebody carry a Guitar Hero controller in a case to protect it. He probably should have packed his testicles in there too, seeing as he won't need to use those for quite a while.

the actual endorsement is old news like 2 or 3 months ago

he`s also a great keyboard player and kicks vai`s arse in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uY-3TXeTZM

I disagree.

tbh, they're improv was too matched in that video to call a winner.

I totally agree with this statement, but from individual solo works I have to say I believe that Tony is better.

But then again thats just my opinion.

Nice to hear, but now when people ask "What's Carvin?" I can't say "Tony MacAlpine uses them"

Vai uses carvin amps..........
