i didnt really know where to put this...but im downloading the torrent of a dvd. and the size is 1.45 gigs... i have dvd decrypter on my computer. when its done downloading (in five years) should i put it in the decrypter and take some stuff off? what should i take off? cuz idk if this will fit on a dvd-r. it says it can fit 4.7 gigs but idk.. can someone give me an example of what to take off of it like different audios or special features or something? also.. when i take stuff off...will it mess up the start menu if i burn it? or will it just play? or will it not have start menu?....

well idk cuz i have cd-r's that say 700mb on them but i put like 300mb on one and it said it was too much... i didnt know if dvd-r are like that too

is it a dvd file format or a svideo or video(.avi,wmv etc)
if its a dvd file , I think you cant put it on a normal CD
if its a svideo/video file you can split it on 2 CD's

its avi. im putting it onto a 4.7g, 2hr dvd-r

the file size of the dvd is 1.45g. thts what the torrent says

I would put it on 2 CD's because the burning program has to encode the file etc. If you want to burn a data disk there is no encoding needed, but if you want to play it on a dvd player it will encode the file and this will take a lot of time

i want it to play on a dvd player...so what should i do then?
