That show is the worse thing i've seen as an attempt to be funny in a while.

1. John Belushi
2. Steven Wright
3. Jim Gaffigan
4. Brian Regan
5. Zach Galifianakis

Love Belushi. He could just sit there and do nothing, and STILL make it funny.

They did the same thing to Demetri Martin. He had a great stand up act going. But then Comedy Central gave him a show and it sucked. =/

1. Daniel Tosh (Tosh.0 was surprisingly amazing, and I hope it stays that way)
2. Jeff DunHAM(.com)
3. Jim Gaffigan
4. Demitri Martin
5. Weird Al (Since he's a parody artist, and not really a "comedian", I'm not sure if he counts. I would put him as #1, but...)

My five personal favorites are:

1. George Carlin
2. Mike Birbiglia
3. Patton Oswalt
4. ....

Well, I have three DEFINITE favorites, and other amazing, scattered comedians.

George Carlin is god, though. And, yes, I was a fan before he died for years. I'm not one of those shallow, bandwagon types.

It's just hard for me to name comedians who have impacted more than the three I named. Without them, I wouldn't have the same type of humor I love today.

ah okay good. I haven't seen his stand up so he might be pretty good. I liked the different feel of Demetri's act but when he got a show it was just....painful.

Oh and I don't really have favorite comedians, but I REALLY enjoy sitting and watching the more unknown comedians on comedy central presents. To me they are 100x better than famous comedians such as Dane Cook, Lewis Black, for the fact that I can watch those comedians in small doses and be okay. However I cannot watch a full hour or more special on Dane Cook and still be sane.

1. Robin Williams
2. Eddie Izzard or Craig Ferguson, i can't choose
3. Christopher Titus
4. Demetri Martin
5. Pablo Francisco

the only reason why i didn't put George Carlin on this list is because i don't consider him a comedian. he's just not comical at all, he talks about serious topics, in a serious way and gives you his oh so serious opinions. if anything he has a very dry sort of humor, but i'll listen to him and go like "ah that's interesting" rather than laugh.
