Hi

Has anyone heard of a amp called rd-100 of the company MusicMan?

And is it any good? What genres is it good for?

Musicman amps rule. They generally have great cleans and take pedals really well. You could use it for pretty much anything provided you are happy with whatever dirt you can put into them.

so heavy metal will be fine with this amp?

It's not really suited for metal, but if you are happy running a distortion pedal into it, then it could be done. Ideally, the amp is more suited for lower gain stuff.
